About
Farway Grange has been providing long term and respite care in Bournemouth as an independently operated family care home since 1986.
Whilst retaining the same core values that have helped the home earn the reputation it enjoys today, the home is now under the careful stewardship of the family's next generation, rebranding the provider Amrial Care
With over 30 years of experience, we understand the importance of individualised service, privacy and a residence that feels like a home from home.
We offer the highest levels of nursing care and personal attention whilst retaining that elusive, homely environment that is so important to our residents and their relatives in maintaining the high quality of life and dignity that they deserve.
Our aim is to provide a safe and caring home with unobtrusive professional support, and to deliver holistic nursing care for our residents, whatever their circumstances.
Following assessment, we deliver person centered care by assessing the individual's care needs, considering their preferences and wishes, and working with their family and health professionals. This can be for long term or respite care.
Farway Grange is situated in the exclusive location of Queens Park, close to Bournemouth town centre and its famous seafront. Bournemouth train station is conveniently less than 2 miles away and several bus services run along Charminster Road, five minutes walk from us.

Location
We are located in the quiet, leafy residential neighbourhood of Queens Park, a Green Flag winning park in the heart of Bournemouth.
Bournemouth has long been associated with health and leisure, with afluent holiday-makers and visitors nursing chest complaints seeking the fresh sea air and fragrant pines, first arriving in droves in the mid-19th century. Since then, the town's council has taken great care to make Bournemouth a destination not only for visitors, but for businesses, students, families looking to make a home, and those wishing to retire to a slower pace of life. This combination of fresh air, beauty, infrastructure, and slower pace adds up to a highly desirable quality of life, making Bournemouth a hotspot for retirement homes, rest homes and nursing homes.
Farway Grange Nursing Home has been an independent Bournemouth care home since 1986, providing trusted nursing care, palliative care and respite care to the Bournemouth and Dorset area.
